Elwenne is a companion you text. What you tell it is personal, so this page says plainly what we store, where it lives, who can see it, and how you take it back. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@elwenne.com.
What we store
- Your account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, your email address, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your password and we see nothing else from your Google account.
- Your messages. Every message you send to Elwenne, and every reply, is saved so Elwenne can remember. Over time Elwenne also keeps what it draws out of your messages: the people you mention, moods, places, and promises, and the map of your world built from them.
- The waitlist. If you join the waitlist we keep your email address, the language you chose, and when you joined. We use it only to tell you when it is your turn, and we delete it when you ask.
- Technical logs. Our servers log event names and numbers, such as "reply sent" and how many tokens it used. Logs never contain message content.
Where it lives
Everything you tell Elwenne lives in one vault that belongs to you alone, on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Message bodies are encrypted with a key unique to your vault before they are written, and that key is itself protected by a master key that never lives in any database. Your account details live in a separate database that holds no message content. We place vaults near the Middle East on a best-effort basis. That is not a guarantee about the country your data is stored in.
Who can see it
- The models that write Elwenne's replies. To answer you, Elwenne sends your message and the relevant past entries to Anthropic, whose Claude models write the replies, and to Cloudflare Workers AI, which turns your messages into the vectors Elwenne uses to find related memories. Encryption protects your vault at rest; it cannot hide a message from a model while that model is answering it. We use both services on their standard API terms, under which they do not use your content to train their models and may keep it only for the limited period their policies allow.
- Nobody else. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not run analytics that see your words. If we add product analytics later, the events will carry names and counts only, never message content.
- Us, only if you ask. Nobody on our side reads your messages in the normal course of things. If you write to us about a problem and ask us to look, we will tell you what we looked at.
What you control
- Export. In Settings, "Export my data" downloads everything in your vault as a JSON file.
- Delete. In Settings, "Erase everything I have told Elwenne" deletes your vault and your account. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Sign out. Signing out ends your session on that device.
Cookies
Elwenne uses one cookie, the session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is set by elwenne.com and no one else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Age
Elwenne is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Safety
If a message suggests you may be in danger, Elwenne shows a fixed support message instead of a model reply. The message you sent is still saved in your vault, and the event is logged without its content.
Changes
When this page changes we update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with your data, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
